Ish & Friends

It's fun to sing and always stimulate the never ending question. Who has got it easier, kids or adults? I have kept it simple, one playful Jazz piano player, two kids and two adults sharing our thoughts as we joyfully agree to disagree.

What's New

Since recording and releasing his latest CD for All Ages, Up Fish Creek in 2015 " an eclectic and imaginative collection of songs and instrumentals that was written, arranged, and produced for young and old alike to enjoy. "

Ish has chosen to take some time off from performing, to immerse himself in what he is most passionate about; honing his artistic talents as a Singer, Songwriter, Storyteller and Musician, as well as expressing his sense of Goodwill within his Art.

His focus is to find common ground where upon the perception of his Music being for Children or for Adults can meet - without either detracting from the value of the other.

Ish is collaborating with others and developing some new writing, performing and recording projects. As he shares his thoughts and musical aspirations, again, beyond the context in which he is best known.

He is presently co-writing and recording a new Folk-Blues influenced CD entitled, Somewhere in the Blue, with Rick Poppa Dawg Halisheff, and plans to tour as a Duo and Quartet upon its release.

After receiving so many positive accolades for the four Instrumentals on Up Fish Creek.

Ish & Marion  are in the midst of recording a new Instrumental CD entitled, Fly Free Butterfly.

A delightful mix of Ish's Folk-Blues and Marion's European and Celtic like Instrumentals.

With that in mind, Ish has been practising with Marion, who accompanies him on accordion, piano and vocals and together they look forward to the year ahead, performing and preparing for the 2018 - 2019 Festival - Fair Season.
