LET KINDNESS BE OUR GUIDING LIGHT is Ish's 6th CD. It is a thematic mix of songs and instrumentals that are intentionally meant to respectfully provoke and hopefully inspire a sense of concern for positive change in this world we all share.

Inspired by the song “I WAS BORN UNDER THE SUN”, we decided to put together an album entitled, LET KINDNESS BE OUR GUILDING LIGHT.

IT TAKES TIME

I would like to share a thought that I’ve been thinking For I’ve been thinking about this world we share Should I dig a little deeper to make things better? Or mind my own business and stand my ground Should I mind my own business and stand my ground

There are lessons that we all learn from others, yes, it’s true That it takes time, and times are changing, rise above If things, they came easy we might not appreciate It takes time, and times are changing, rise above

I read a book about Mandela He had this focus since the start of time He wrote a note on his wall to remember Don’t let your struggles defeat you, You’ve got to rise above and see things through

I had a dream last night that I remember We all awoke under a bright blue light And like minded people began to gather Chanting, “Let’s make this world a better place” “Let’s make this world a better place”

I was born under the sun

And I’m no different than anyone

I want to be healthy, happy and free
