Ish decided to take some time off in 2017 - 2019 from performing to move to Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island, set up his new home with his wife Marion, to immerse himself in small town Island life and, in what he is most passionate about.  

He enjoys discovering other Artists and their Music and taking time to focus on his talents as a Singer, Songwriter & Storyteller as well as to find new ways to express his imaginative spirit and sense of Goodwill within his Art.  

Ish is happily collaborating with others and developing some new writing, performing and recording projects as he shares his thoughts and musical aspirations that would appeal to kids and their families and all ages.

Something New in the Mix

After receiving so many positive accolades for the four Instrumentals on Up Fish Creek. Ish & Marion worked with Doug Perry, to record two new CDs. 

The first entitled, Let Kindness Be Our Guiding Light, consisting of four Folk/Rock songs and two Instrumentals and the second, Voyage of the Escape, is a delightful mix of Ish's Folk-Roots influences and Marion's European and Celtic like musical style.
